Play 3 brings together artists exploring the possibilities of contemporary expression through sound, image and digital technology.

From Japan, tamanaramen — known for pop, experimental electronic music paired with ethereal visuals — presents DANCE IS BREATHING, an audiovisual performance for dance, breath, and the ever-changing body.

Making its Japan debut is Taiwan's MOVING PLUS: The World as Prompt. Centred on new media art collective Dimension Plus, with novelist Yi-Chin LO and collage artist Raintree 1969, the work unfolds "prompts" across multiple media — language, sound, image and AI — into a multidimensional whole. It points to a new possibility for audiovisual expression emerging from Asia.
