A/Visions 2 showcases some of the world's leading audiovisual work on the vast stage of Box 1000.

Poland's leading pianist and composer Hania Rani appears with Chilling Bambino, her alter-ego project built around a love of the Prophet synth. Centred on dark-tinted electronica and hypnotic rhythms, the set weaves in the raw sound of an upright piano stripped of its casing, mechanism exposed, as Rani lets loose.

mouse on the keys, the Japanese instrumental band celebrating its 20th anniversary, presents a special audiovisual performance for MUTEK.JP 2026, expanding the world of ambient music and techno minimalism explored on their 2024 album midnight into the realms of image and space. For this performance, the trio is joined by violinist Shuntaro Tsuneta and VJ rokapenis, in a formation where repetition and fluctuation, the physical and the digital, intersect to create an immersive experience that shifts the audience's perception.

World-renowned Japanese audiovisual artist Ryoichi Kurokawa presents his latest work, nD. Using a two-screen diptych format, sound and image are synchronised with extreme precision, generating a perception that oscillates between abstraction and concreteness, meaning and meaninglessness, separation and unity — an immersive audiovisual experience.
