This program blends experimental sound, digital art, and club culture into a seamless experience—pushing the boundaries of music concepts and styles through innovative performances, immersive AV shows, and high-energy sets.
Nocturne 1 spotlights unique sounds that expand the possibilities of music. Berlin-based artist Alva Noto dissolves the boundaries between sound and light, liberating the listener’s senses with his cutting-edge sonic explorations. The experimental rhythm ensemble goat, led by Koshiro Hino, performs programmed polyrhythms entirely by hand, creating a physical, tribal groove born from subtle dissonances.
Late into the night, Japanese alternative rock band GEZAN unleashes raw energy with their wall of sound, while Korean artist machina, working between Tokyo and Berlin, transforms the floor with her latest live set. Ecuadorian producer Nicola Cruz will channel Andean rhythms through electronic music, awakening a primal pulse deep within the body.
