Formed in 2013 by Koshiro Hino, the group originally started as a four-piece band featuring guitar, saxophone, bass, and drums. Today, they perform as a five-member ensemble, with members frequently switching instruments depending on the piece. Their music intentionally avoids conventional scales, instead focusing on noises and muted sounds produced through the act of playing.

Built on persistent repetition, their compositions evoke both trance and physical fatigue, while melodies made from off-scale harmonics feel simultaneously urban (club-like) and primal.

In 2023, they released their third album, Joy in Fear, via NAKID.
