EYE & C.O.L.OJP
EYE founded Boredoms in 1986, releasing groundbreaking works such as Super æ and Vision Creation Newsun, and has since become a cult figure with fans worldwide. He is also known for the monumental “Boadrum” series, which brought together dozens of drummers in large-scale performances. Beyond Boredoms, ∈Y∋ has collaborated with Sonic Youth, John Zorn’s Naked City, and side projects like Puzzle Punks.
At MUTEK.JP, he presents one of his A/V show in collaboration with C.O.L.O, founder of the multimedia collective Cosmic Lab. C.O.L.O has created immersive audiovisual worlds in projects such as THE TRIP – Enter the Black Hole with techno pioneer Jeff Mills, and FINALBY() with EYE.
An accelerated hybrid beyond AV / DJ / LIVE, where maximization reveals minimization. Expanded shingeki futurism and seismic audiovisual reactivity push image and light into an inseparable acceleration.
