On day three of the festival, A/Visions 3 delivers an immersive performance that moves beyond existing frameworks, where performing arts woven from music, dance and technology intersect with a cinematic sound world.

Media artist Daito Manabe and dance company ELEVENPLAY, led by MIKIKO, present the dance installation +1+1+1+. Taking time and structure as its theme, the work repeatedly synchronises and desynchronises the dancers' bodies, projected imagery and light — reconfiguring the boundaries between body and technology, music and dance.

Closing out the programme is the Japan premiere of Film Scores for No One, the latest project from Canada's celebrated singer-songwriter and composer Patrick Watson. Improvised electronic textures from modular synthesizers meet neo-classical sound, conjuring an immersive, film-score-like soundscape in a performance best experienced live.
