RICH & MIYUJP+UK
RICH & MIYU is a Tokyo based studio founded in 2019 by Miyu Burns (JP) and Richard Burns (EN) working in the field of motion graphics, interactive design, art and research. The relationships between the physical and non-physical and how one would manifest as the other is at the core of their work.
They investigate visions of the imperceptible such as algorithms, laws of nature and social constructs with the process including the scanning and tracking of physical objects to experiment with their form, movement and deconstruction.

In the shadows, creatures stir just beyond the light, Their silhouettes morphing, indiscernible forms that seem to vanish as they are noticed. They are not quite seen, but their presence is felt, as the air itself shifts with their quiet movement. They are the inhabitants of the deep forest.
