KUTIN & Patrik Lechner AT — ACHRONIC
Video artist Patrik Lechner utilises specifically trained neural networks to generate continuously evolving, uncanny, yet organic visual layers that bear an eerie resemblance to bodily tissues. These layers respond dynamically in real-time, engaging with Peter Kutin's brutalist yet alluring compositions and sonic gestures, which are frequently initiated or intentionally disrupted by custom-made light-audio-feedback mechanisms. Raw structures and eruptions are meticulously molded until a trance-like state emerges. The duo made their debut at MUTEK Montreal in 2022, receiving critical acclaim. They are currently in the process of developing and premiering a new iteration of their performance titled "ACHRONIC" for MUTEK TOKYO.
