RADA|R| in collaboration with MUTEK.JP takes place at ARTIE, a unique cultural venue in Shizuoka where art, creativity, and new forms of play come together in a welcoming and immersive environment.
This inaugural event is presented with the support of TECH BEAT Shizuoka, a platform that fosters new value creation through collaboration between businesses and startups across Shizuoka Prefecture, taking place from July 23–25.
The first edition features a live performance by Kuniyuki Takahashi, the acclaimed dance music producer from Sapporo, Hokkaido, whose work has earned international recognition and helped shape Japan’s global reputation in electronic music. Joining him is AOKI takamasa, the Osaka-born artist known for his international career spanning live performances, DJ sets, and music production, who will perform a special DJ set.
Visual direction for both artists will be created by C2 × OVORO, a special audiovisual unit formed for this event. The duo brings together 3DCG artist C2 and TouchDesigner specialist OVORO to create immersive visuals synchronized with the music.
The program also includes an audiovisual performance by Tokyo-based artist Toru Izumida, founder of Public Visuals, as well as a live A/V performance by ksmt × sascacci, whose custom-developed applications organically merge sound and image into a unified live experience.
Bringing together a lineup worthy of its inaugural edition, RADA|R| promises a special night that will breathe new energy into ARTIE.
