Japan Media Arts Festival × MUTEK.JP

MUTEK.JP is collaborating with the Agency for Cultural Affairs to present 2 days of talks and audiovisual performances as part of the opening weekend of the 22nd Japan Media Arts Festival. The event will take place at the 7F Innovation Hall in our beloved Miraikan - the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation.

Saturday, June 1 will be all centered around the topic "Art & The Intelligent Machine" exploring the interaction of artists with this new emerging technology, which is followed by the live showcase "Performing AI". Sunday, June 2 will see a range of innovative audiovisual performances showcasing established alongside emerging artists in the renown MUTEK fashion.

From June 1 to 16 the 22nd Japan Media Arts Festival will showcase award-winning works from Japan and the world that explore new forms of expression and are pushing the current boundaries of artistic practice. During 16 days the whole of Odaiba will be shrouded in the most cutting-edge media art reflecting the current state of our time.
