MUTEK Tokyo’s 9th edition has set Shibuya ablaze with its fusion of electronic music, digital art, and avant-garde sets. Known for pushing creative boundaries, MUTEK invites audiences into a transformative journey that melds sound, visuals, and technology, embodying the festival’s global ethos of innovation, diversity and expression.
On Sunday, November 24th, Nocturne 3 at Spotify O-EAST will present an eclectic fusion of futuristic music, jazz, minimalism, electroacoustics, and media art. Headlined by genre-defying futuristic UK artist Iglooghost, the program will also feature Kara-Lis Coverdale’s intricate electroacoustic soundscapes with Rich & Miyu’s visuals, Hiroshi Watanabe’s immersive audiovisual set with Atsushi Kobayashi, Sapphire Slows’ collaboration with Myriam Boucher, and vibraphonist Masayoshi Fujita’s latest composition with the experimental multimedia magic from 100LDK. Get ready for a closing night full avant-garde soundscapes and visual artistry!
Iglooghost
Through a genre-defying sound, hyper-futuristic beats, and intricate sound design, Iglooghost crafts an immersive, otherworldly experience. Known for his complex and vibrant sonic landscapes, he transports listeners into a fantasy world bursting with energy and emotion.

Sapphire Slows & Myriam Boucher
A multidisciplinary collaboration: Sapphire Slows crafts eerie, slow-motion soundscapes blending minimalism and ambient pop, while Myriam Boucher’s video compositions transform everyday scenes into fluid, organic phenomena, merging sound and image seamlessly. Together, they offer a storytelling experience of atmospheric electronics and stunning visual art.

Kara-Lis Coverdale
Canadian composer Kara-Lis Coverdale seamlessly merges electronic and acoustic elements, crafting immersive soundscapes that bridge the digital and the ancient. Praised for their meditative depth, her works explore layered realities, blending synthetic and organic tones to create a transcendent, engaging experience. A true visionary in contemporary experimental music!

Hiroshi Watanabe (Kaito) & Atsushi Kobayashi
A master of combining genres, Hiroshi Watanabe, aka Kaito, blends melancholic synth melodies with ambient textures, creating atmospheric yet danceable music. His work spans genres, from Japanese folk-inspired tracks to his latest album released this year by InFiné Music. Atsushi Kobayashi merges technology and art to create an immersive frame for this dynamic collaboration.

Masayoshi Fujita & 100LDK
The renowned vibraphonist and composer Masayoshi Fujita creates breathtaking soundscapes that fuse minimalist music with jazz and experimental techniques. With his evocative live performances and emotive compositions, Fujita draws listeners into a space where the beauty of each note resonates deeply. The visual experience will be completed by 100LDK, a video production team founded by Yuki Iwamoto in early 1999.
