— ruins : the remains of human-made architecture —

"s.asmbli / subassemblies" is a project which pursues the relationship between nature and human-made through a perspective of architectural scale. This is translated in different presentation formats such as a concert piece, multiscreen installations, prints, VR and a screening version. Main sources of this project are 3d data by laser scanning of human-made architecture, ruins and nature, and those are distorted and reconstructed into each module as subassemblies to create renewed timeline with layers of order and disorder while exposing force of both nature and art.

Ruins, nature-invaded buildings and architectures in disrepair are superimposed and rebuild dynamically, and those unusualities rendered in multi-layered depth extends the perception of floating not only between nature and human-made, but also between abstract and concrete phenomena through its transition, destruction and renaturation. The motions such as cancellation of physical law, hybrid of natural and artificial components, and transposition of entropy and negentropy enhance those unusualities. Concert version "subassemblies" is composed of a single screen, surround lighting and 4.1ch sound system. Installation "re-assembli" is developed by re-plotting materials and built into space with diptych, 4.1ch sound and 16ch surround light.

This is an audiovisual installation work, a reconstruction of images and sounds that are recorded in the Middle East by Daniel Demoustier for his individual recordings in the last dozen years. This work is composed of three displays and 3.1ch sound. Three images depict the different viewpoints of different situations which are involved in the conflict and the war. These footage show us the suffering and the tragedies that actually happen there. These scenes provide a strong emotional effect to the viewers. When we look at a war photograph, we might try to see the story behind the scene or we might try to make a story based on the previous or next image. War photography gives an impact on the eyes.

The visual effect fascinates the viewers and stimulates their perception. In this work, it gives an aspect of the still image in the moving image, that is to say, a slow transition sequence from one motion to next motion (between the shots) extends the moment. The fragments of images and sounds make a rearrangement of time to avoid making a sort of story. The long and slow sequence enhances the strain and the pressure on the viewers. It also emphasizes the event as "war", the terror, the fear. This audiovisual installation provides time and space to reflect on the actual event which happens on the same ground.

HINT: Success is failure, failure is success.
A groundbreaking work by artist Akasha and collective SPIME.IM.

This powerful fusion combines AI-driven art with the aesthetics of information overload and capitalist collapse. Dive into abstract visuals of devastated buildings and atomic echoes, navigating through cities scarred by pollution, corporate dominance, and military presence.

In this sterile, tech-dominated realm, humanity seeks refuge.
HINT is an eye-opening journey that pushes both artistic and social boundaries.
