Lynne is a Japanese artist who explores the outer realms of techno, experimental, and drum 'n' bass. First emerging in 2013 as part of Tokyo's underground scene, Lynne established herself quickly, winning the Samurai Music Mix competition and playing regularly at respected Tokyo institutions. Over time her sound evolved from its DnB roots to include more textural, obscure and experimental layers as she became fascinated with building emotive atmospheres and twisting them to her rhythm. Now a resident of Astral Industries and Unknown Species, Lynne resides between Tokyo and London: she’s an artist at home in the dark matter between genres, where her rhythm is the gravitational force pulling dancers in all the right directions.
