Connect MUTEK.AR+AE - Premiere MX

Uniting in a joint session the MUTEK branch in Buenos Aires and the satellite event in the Arab Emirates will showcase a series of 2 audiovisual performances. Hakim Murphy, better know as hm505 collaborates with Polish visual artist VJ mentalny jeż inspired by the experience of opacification of the eye, also known as cataract.

Argentinian duo Qoa & Joaquina S. will take us on a journey into a future of a queerized imagination of space-time in their performance "Future Mythologies". Their performance is presented as part of the Amplify Digital Arts Initiative connects and empowers an active network of women-identifying artists and professionals working in the digital arts, sound and immersive storytelling sectors in Canada, Latin America and the UK. AMPLIFY D.A.I is an initiative of the British Council in partnership with MUTEK Montréal, MUTEK Buenos Aires and Somerset House Studios in the UK. The programme is supported by Canada Council for the Arts and Fundación Williams.
